It started with a ₹1 lakh loan and a bottle of sauce
In 1995, Sandeep Guha Roy took a ₹1 lakh loan and started a small sauce unit in Bhubaneswar. No experience, early losses, many sleepless nights.
“The losses worried me, but they also taught me. I kept fixing one mistake at a time, and within a year and a half the sauce unit was running well.”
Noodles came next. The Prime brand was born in 2002, and the company was incorporated on 21 December 2010.

Distributing Nutrine, Halls and Old Spice taught him: making and selling are two different skills.

Licensing learnt in Kolkata, and with his mother's blessing, Prime is launched.

Pickles added. 3–4 years spent winning every market in Odisha first.
